Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital Fellowship in Fetal Medicine
Duration – 6 months
Eligibility – Post Graduate in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/MS/DGO/DNB)
MMC registration for duration of the course mandatory
Course Fee – Rs.60,000 + Rs 40000 for USG training program. Total 100000/-
Payment – DD
Documents Required – Attested copy of PG Degree certificate
MMC registration (those from outside Maharashtra need to apply for temporary MMC registration for the duration)
PCPNDT permission will be processed by the NWMH office after admission.
Description – 3 months of intensive training in fetal medicine including exposure to dedicated OPDs for couple counselling by multidisciplinary team and observing various fetal procedures like Amniocentesis, Chorionic villous sampling, Fetal Blood Sampling, Intra Uterine transfusion, Fetal Reduction etc. Candidate will attend a focussed ultrasonography training program including hands on experience during the first month and gain knowledge of NT, Malformation scans, Doppler studies etc.
2 batches per year– January and July

Timings 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
95% Attendance compulsory
A logbook of interesting cases is mandatory.
On completion, candidate will be given an Ultrasonography Training Program Completion Certificate and a Fetal Medicine Fellowship Completion Certificate from Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital.
Accommodation – Accommodation will not be provided.
Lectures will be taken by specialists in fetomaternal medicine and radiologists, covering the entire course curriculum.
